KAU Little League

Hello Everyone,

Todd Martin is holding tryouts for a 10U Bulldog travel team. Please read below. You can contact us for more information.

Hello All,

I am reaching out to invite you to open tryouts for a 10U Avon Grove Bulldogs travel baseball team.

I hope to provide a place for local players to develop by practicing and playing on a travel baseball team. The main emphasis will be on player development and building strong morals and character. This open tryout will be held to select players for the 2021 spring season. We will be looking to field a team of roughly 12 players.

The team activities will include:
1) winter workouts, indoor practices, and hitting sessions Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar (work around your winter sports)
2) 2 or 3 tournaments in the spring/summer
3) SEPTBA league games, and possibly a SEPTBA season tournament
4) practice 1-2 per week during the spring
5) all players are encouraged to play AGALL and we will do our best to accommodate Little League play.
6) multi-sport athletes are encouraged to continue to be multi-sport athletes

Goals are skills development, competitive team play, and baseball fundamentals. Expectations are hard work, hustle, sportsmanship, and playing the game the right way. EACH OF THESE WILL BE MODELED AND TAUGHT BY MYSELF AND THE COACHING STAFF.

Tryouts will be held on 2 dates, attendance at both is highly encouraged, but a minimum of one tryout is required:
Sunday October 18, 10:00am-12:00pm at New London Township Field, 902 W. State Rd, New London, PA
Sunday October 25, 10:00am-12:00pm at New London Township Field, 902 W. State Rd, New London, PA

Please fill out the registration for tryouts ASAP so we know how many players to expect.

I hope you will consider this opportunity and more importantly I'd like to thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Thank you,
Todd Martin
While at Anson B Nixon park this evening I was very surprised to see the PA guidelines for safety not being followed by parents/spectators of the KAU baseball association. I observed no masks on coaches, parents, spectators. Some were socially spaced apart, others not. A group of approximately 15 dads were walking from one field to the next, stopping at the storage shed carrying on conversation and only one had a mask. What message does this send to our youth and and our community members. Come on people! Do the right thing!

As KAU is playing host for the 13 U State Tournament, I wanted to let you know that some of the games will be live streamed via FACEBOOK starting with 8pm TUESDAY night KAU vs Green Castle.

If these games were only within KAU, we would live stream through the KAU Facebook. However, in the spirit of covering non KAU teams as well, the games will be live streamed through my Facebook. CHRIS JARMUZ.

Therefore, please send a friend request to ME/ CHRIS JARMUZ (I have a couple of accounts, so just in case, send a friend request to BOTH of my accounts) and in turn I will accept your request.

This is a great opportunity for your friends and family (especially those out of state/country) who can not make it to KENNETT SQUARE to connect with CHRIS JARMUZ via FACEBOOK and catch some of the games!!!

This season, for West Chester University games, we had fans from Dubai, L.A., Florida, etc.

Once the tournament has concluded, all those that have connected with CHRIS JARMUZ via FACEBOOK can drop the connection.... although some may want to continue watching replays down the road :)
