She said, “Mr. Jason, this has been a really great week of camp and I had so much fun. And I wanted to give you something.” Now this happens at camp from time to time, and I usually get quite a number of hand drawn cards, which are great and have a home in my office. But this was no hand drawn card. I was floored when I opened the box. She had created a scale model of our playground, all the way down to the zip line and butterflies! I literally had to turn away with a big old tear in my eye. To know that she had put so much effort and thought into that gift, coupled with the creativity and knowing that camp had meant that much to her…wow.
So the next time you come by the Township Building to mundanely pay your tax bill, take a moment to see Katerina’s artwork, now on permanent display!

Our installers for Surface America are the best!
Some of our board members were still working last evening when the crew installing the rubber wrapped things up. These gentlemen were the hardest workers we have ever seen. Polite, professional and hard working would sum these guys up.
Thanks to Lopez, Wilson, Luis, Jesus and Raul for making light work of the rubber surfacing.
The rubber surfacing is not only an integral part but also a very costly one as well. This accounted for over 25% of the total budget, but the safety and ability to use crutches, strollers and wheelchairs more easily is priceless. As some members have stated, "its like walking on air!"

Phenomenal work going on in Pottsville, PA to build an AMAZING new BCI Burke Playground for Dustin's Adventureland!
More progress this week!! Lots of digging and leveling going on!!! Gotta give a huge shout out to our Board President Jim Womer, his son Jimbo, and their employees Dave and Bud for keeping things moving along in this brutal heat today. When I left there today the real feel was 108°. Make sure you give these guys some credit when you see them for their dedication and hard work. Without this crew this project would not be possible at all.
