When we started BBT, we really never thought we would be selling tiles! But they were are! We hope this will be a great way for those wanting to buy bisque fired tiled for their V2 bat system- with a guaranteed fit!

What do you do if you can only find bisque fired tiles that are slightly too large? Well. We bisqued them again but to a hotter cone! Cone 02 has worked out perfectly for us so far. We will have these for sale on our website this upcoming weekend, but wanted to share this method if it’s something g you have run into yourself! Happy throwing!

A grippier tile was something requested by some of our customers- and the matte tiles are just that! Same great warp resistant features- now with some added grip benefits!

2026 has been a whirlwind so far- and we didn’t even share that we were featured in Ceramics Monthly in February!!! I have put the link in our bio if you wanted to read the article online. In the meantime, here is a little more about who we are!
Jeff Campana and Hope Limyansky-Smith, both full time ceramics teachers and potters, founded Blue Bucket Tools in early 2024 with the mission of making tools that work specifically for classroom studios. As teachers, we see opportunities to solve the common everyday problems in order to maximize the efficiency and enjoyment of taking and teaching pottery classes. We are a small company, and we personally prepare all the orders, answer the emails, and design all of our products.
