Wednesday Night Drinking Practice had a wonderful evening with the talented Alyssa Murray. Her latest record is "Half and Half" and it is a very creative, cool album. Equally as cool is her video she has as well. We had some delicious tacos and tamales from Tacos El Gallo! So good! Check them out. We are also sponsored by The Majestic Restaurant, Jaykco Guitar Straps, Found Sound KC, Phosphor Studio and Cool Guy Foods, LLC! Please visit our Patreon as well. All the info on our guest and our sponsors is at the Ancient House Productions link below. Thanks for the support and keep practicing!

Please sign and share! Thank you.

Thank you for always being such a great supporter of recordBar. These have been trying times for everyone, and your continued support means so much to us.

recordBar is proud to be a part of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), which was formed to provide independent venues and promoters across the country with a resource and community that seeks to keep their stages from ceasing to exist altogether. We were the first to close and will be the last to fully reopen.

Without support from Congress, 90% of NIVA’s independent venues, festivals & promoters across America say they will be forced to close their doors forever. Congress will be voting THIS MONTH, so we need your help NOW. Go to www.SaveOurStages.com to send a letter to Congress. The form for the letter is already filled in. All you need to do is just add your name. It takes less than 30 seconds.

Without inclusion in the next stimulus bill, this might be the last chance for your favorite independent venues, festivals and promoters. Tell your reps that life support for independent venues and promoters must be included.

Even if you’ve written once, please continue to make your voices heard now. Ask your legislators to support and co-sponsor S. 3814/H.R. 7481, the RESTART Act, introduced by Senators Young and Bennet in the Senate and Representatives Golden and Kelly in the House, which would ensure the survival of independent venues, festivals and promoters across the nation.

Because our shop is so small we’re holding off on opening right away. But we will be back and we miss seeing you!

As the effects of the shutdown continue to hit the music community, we are hoping to give a little relief to local artists in the form of an emergency grant. If you are one of these artists, we hope you will consider applying:
https://midwestmusicfoundation.org/covidreliefform/
🔸
While we realize these smaller grants will not completely solve the financial strain you are experiencing, we hope to alleviate some of the immediate stress. We will also provide links to additional resources that may be available.
🔸
These grants will be available as long as donations are continue, if you are interested in giving to this cause, head over to our "Just In Time" fundraiser: https://www.facebook.com/donate/2330774267222369/
🔸
And everyone, please continue to share!

Ok folks, we’re just as excited about having this as any other piece in the store! Darren, always on the hunt, bought some rolled up sets of blueprints, two from Kaufman and one from Arrowhead. And after getting home and rolling them out, what do you know, the Arrowhead one is part of the loudspeaker sound system! This is one of the prints, but we also have the original. Go Chiefs! 🏈
