Justin and his team were such a pleasure to work with. All of our communication prior to the work being done was prompt and all of my questions were thoroughly answered. This morning at 4:00 a.m. somebody knocked on my door. Now normally, I wouldn't answer the door, but I've been having a garage sale all weekend and I was exhausted and just not thinking. I fell asleep and did not set my alarm. The guy who knocked on the door had unscrewed my porch light. I guess he thought by unscrewing my porch light he would be okay. I opened the door and he said they're chasing me can I come in? I said no you can't come in, do you want me to call the cops? He shook his head yes and I closed the door and locked it and called 911. They sent out two cars but never came to the door.

Five minutes later I realized duh, I have video surveillance that was installed by Scotty and the guys at Absolute Systems. I called 911 back and told her I was sorry that I was not really together and that I have video surveillance and had a perfect picture of the guy even though it was pitch black. She said I will have an officer come by. When the officer came out he took one look at the picture and said "We got him". I said really? He said yep. I said I'm sorry the picture isn't in color but he unscrewed my porch light. He laughed and said ma'am, I wish every video I had was as good as yours. You've got nothing more to worry about tonight. I thanked him for coming out twice and went back to bed. I know I made mistakes tonight but thankfully I lived to learn from them.

A little story about the IQ panel…
Yesterday we were in town and I got an abnormal activity notification on my phone that our patio door had open. Somehow our dog, Jaz, had let herself out. We got the alert and called our neighbor to keep an eye out for Jaz and to please go check on the house. The system was not armed but knew no one was home. Love this system. Jaz had let her self out and was back inside when the neighbor arrived. If she could have only of shut the door behind her!
