Brothers André Reyes, Jr. and Antonio Reyes are multi-instrumentalists who have been performing together for audiences for nearly 17 years. They regularly perform together as the Reyes Brothers Organ and Piano Trios, the Reyes Brothers Family Band and Mariachi, the Bluebone Brothers, and Stranded in the City. Coming from a musical family, their style of jazz is influenced by the many genres of music they have experienced. Whether you are an avid musician or the common listener, their music will find a way to draw you in and create an experience for you to connect, in a way that will keep you engaged aurally and physically!

The first time Chris experienced a real Hammond B-3 organ, he knew instantly that it was the instrument he was destined to play. The master at the console that night was Kansas City’s own B-3 legend Everette DeVan, who took Chris on as a student and started him on a journey that has taken him to incredible places over the course of his 17-year professional career. Influenced by the greats such as Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Jack McDuff, Richard “Groove” Holmes, and Dr. Lonnie Smith, Chris’s music respects the soul and swing of the past while subtly adding modern harmonic and rhythmic flavor.
