It's that dry time of year again. Humidity control for your wood instruments can save you from warping and cracks. Boveda two-way humidity control packs work great with guitars, clarinets and oboes. They not only give off humidity, they can absorb excess humidity as well. The sealed packs mean no messy dripping sponges and are safe to be in contact with your instrument.
Clarinets and oboes use 1 pack per case. Guitars can use up to 3 packs. Packs can last up tp a year or more depending upon how dry your instrument is to start, if case is wood, and what the weather does.

We are using the Stewart MacDonald Erlewine jig to simulate the guitar neck being under string tension while doing the fret level work. This ensures that when the guitar is restrung it will have the best feel, action and intonation possible.

This project began it’s life as a straight 42. During the F attachment conversion we set aside the original parts, leaving them unaltered so you could preserve history and set this Trombone to original specifications if you chose to do so.

Fresh out of the lacquer booth is a project for our friends at J. Landress Brass! They did a marvelous job on this Martin Committee and we sprayed the lacquer for them.

For our lacquer we use a durable baked on epoxy that will make the horns look as good as they sound. Even with this satin finish there is a luster from the lacquer.

Bryan is checking for leaks in this Vito clarinet. It's an essential part of making sure every instrument plays as effortlessly as possible and something that takes some time to master. We just finished up some very minor adjustments to one of our customers soprano sax. He had a CD release party this weekend and we wanted to be sure it was perfect. We hope you all have a chance to play this weekend.

These cables feature high quality Mogami miniature wire and Squareplug SP400 right angle connectors. These connectors are the smallest soldered 1/4 plugs on the market at only 8.3mm (.326 in) deep. 2nd picture shows size in comparison to standard Switchcraft right angle plug.
