Super awesome yesterday to see Heath Pedigo again in the new space and the first time meeting the mastermind behind a lot of the designs our affiliates wear . The stars of the show were the kids who kept themselves busy with cars, and at the end who were running around Heath not even realizing what a big deal that man actually is. The biggest surprise of the day and one way overdue was proposing to . I would have taken pictures but I videoed it instead. We as a team have thought of them as a family unit for years but now it will be official. Congratulations to you two for all you have accomplished and will in the future. Huge shout out to and our sister gym for coming out to show support because I know it is a long drive.

Heath Pedigo with is in the Carolinas and will be in Kannapolis, NC tomorrow, Sunday Feb. 8, 2026 . We haven’t seen him since October when I really got a chance to talk to him and hear his story. The man is the GOAT for a reason and whether you care about BJJ or not, take the time to read his journey on how Daisy Fresh came about and who he is as a person. Hollywood could make a movie about his life, he is that inspiring.
You are awesome Heath and an inspiration to us all.

I was managing taking pictures early morning but soon weathered the blizzard by putting a plastic grocery bag over my camera and praying my redneck infinity wouldn’t ruin my $5K camera and lens. Thankfully all was well and I got to capture the boys with Lily who would stay in the snow and romp all day.

It was nice to get the camera out after a week, Landon being injured throws everything off for me so it was nice getting back in the routine capturing the CK family. Will pick more out from the album later but these were the highlights from last night. I do want to sincerely apologize to Eddie because I really quickly took a team pic and didn’t realize he was off to the side instead of huddled up with the team. I will do better next time, buddy.

Highlights from each athlete I had from Charlotte, (sorry that we left early and didn’t get your winning matches), and our special guest coach for Wednesday nights, .cats from . I started the montage with since he had the most dynamic match of the day with driving his opponent into the table, off the mat, and at one point almost into me!! Super proud of our team and all our coaches who make us all believe we have no limits.
