I’ve been going back and forth on this…

I may be parting ways with my Nikon D7500 ( DSLR) + Sigma 150-500mm lens. This setup has been so good to me and has captured so many incredible sports moments.

I’m looking at upgrading and really investing deeper into my photography journey, so if there’s serious interest, I’d consider selling.

The Nikon D7500 is a crop sensor (APS-C) camera. That means its sensor is smaller than a full-frame camera. Because it’s smaller, it “crops” into the center of the image — which makes your lens appear more zoomed in.

Nikon’s crop factor is 1.5x.

So when you put a 150-500mm lens on it, you multiply:
• 150mm × 1.5 = 225mm
• 500mm × 1.5 = 750mm
