This last RADwood was another amazing experience. Another chance to see an eclectic selection of awesome ‘80s and ‘90s cars, that you don’t see on out in the wild much anymore- unfortunately!
The venue never disappoints either.

One highlight of my trip to RADwood was meeting one of my heroes, Mr Randy Pobst. Exchanging thoughts on the driving dynamics of the GKB manual swapped V12 R129 was super exciting. Getting encouraged by a legend, priceless!

Loco, loco! The joys of replacing a $20 bushing.
Then again, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it….
Dunn rite at GKB HQ!
I’d be hard pressed to find a better way to come home from the airport, than driven by my Boy in his 40year old Benz! Life is good!

After almost two weeks of wrenching and fabbing we have another badass classic ready to turn heads.
For now it’s time to head back to Sunny South Florida, but happy to tease with, that there’s some more very cool projects in the pipeline!!!

Did a cool mod on my SEC that I wanted to do for a long time, but never got around to it. Now that I finished the evaporator, I couldn’t make myself not do this mod while reassembling the interior.
It’s an ASR 100% defeat switch. The mod has been around for a while for W124, W140 and R129s, but obviously not in a modded W126. What’s even more unique is that I retained the original “snow chain” ASR button, specific to the W126, that is fully functional.
Since the W126 never came with a factory “ASR off” labeled switch, I had to get creative, and modified a factory hazard switch that lights up bright when activated. The dash also indicates ASR when the modified switch is turned on.
When the factory “snow chain” switch is turned on, only the dash ASR is lit.
