Happy birthday, J! We've shared a lifetime of memories, milestones, heartbreaks, motherhood, and laughter. I'm so grateful to have you as my sister ❤️ Love you always!

There was a time when my mornings were all about everyone else. Packing lunches, pouring cereal, making sure backpacks, snacks, and water bottles were ready before we ran out the door. ❤️

Now my mornings look a little different.

Protein powder in the Stanley.
Fiber in the coffee.
Extra protein with breakfast.
Trying to drink enough water and hit my health goals before the day gets away from me. 😂

And honestly? I’m learning that taking care of myself matters too.

This chapter may look different than the motherhood years I once knew… but I think there’s something really beautiful about finally giving some of that care back to ourselves.

Any other moms in this era too?

The other night, something small hit me a little deeper than I expected.

I was sitting there, just talking. Nothing big, nothing planned.

And I realized how different this season of life feels.

The conversations and pace are different. Not better or worse, just different.

And instead of rushing past it like I probably would have in the past, I actually sat in it a minute. Lowered my shoulders, took a deep breath.

And appreciated it.

These are the moments I know I'll look back on one day and wish I could have again (and again).

This phase of life is teaching me to slow down a little and not miss what's right in front of me.

Anyone else feeling this way lately?

I used to think everything had to be done just right to feel good about it.

Lately, I've realized it's more about what actually makes life easier day to day.

Nothing here is groundbreaking, but it's working!

And honestly, I'll take working over perfect any day.

What's one thing you've simplified lately?

There's something about this season of life that feels different.

Not perfect, not fully figured out, but more intentional.

I'm learning to enjoy putting things back into place instead of rushing through it.

I’ve been a little quiet on here, but not because life slowed down.
Honestly? It’s been the opposite.

Life has been full—beautiful, messy, evolving in ways I didn’t expect. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realized something…

I’ve changed.

And if I’m being real, so has this space.
