To all you fathers out there, Happy Father's Day.

There are two days left in this special session to move the gas line project forward with the passage of a tax reform bill.

Progress is happening, but time is running out in this special session. While the House of Representatives completed their work and passed over a bill with tremendous support last week, the Senate has a little under two days to complete their work.

If the Senate does run out of time by Friday midnight, I will issue a call for a second special session to give them more time to quickly complete the work.

My hope is we can get the work done and a bill passed that works to help move this large gas line project forward before midnight Friday. If not, we will begin the process again Saturday with another special session.

Let’s all encourage the Alaska State Senate to complete the work to move this gas line forward.

Last week the Alaska House acted and passed the LNG bill with overwhelming support.

The Senate is now in the process of hearing the bill. It is my hope and the hope of tens of thousands of Alaskans, that the Senate passes out a bill that will enable the Alaska LNG project to move forward.

The American flag represents freedom, liberty, justice, and the will of a nation to become something greater for 250 years and counting.

On this Flag Day, stand in unity with our homeland, honor our fallen heroes, and salute the greatest mark of freedom anywhere in the world. 🇺🇸

Let's all thank the Alaska House for the hard work and long hours its members put into the LNG bill. I look forward to working with the Senate and completing the bill next week.
