Currently, I copy edit for Laureate Education, which develops/updates/revises online university coursework for several national universities. I edit Walden University courses and competency packages using APA style. I also edit courses for The National Hispanic University (NHU) using Australian English APA style and Harvard style for University of Liverpool and Roehampton courses. I edited books i
n the Teen Health Series for Wordwright LLC. I prepared, compiled, and edited the books for publishing for Omnigraphics, including Alcohol Information For Teens, Fitness Information For Teens, Cancer Information For Teens, Stress Information For Teens, Complementary And Alternative Medicine Information For Teens, and Mental Health Information For Teens. For each, I developed the book outline, found supporting documents (public domain or copyrighted material), then edited the documents and keyed each volume for typesetting. I have extensive writing experience for trade publications, including The Engravers Journal, Fabricator, Massage & Bodywork Magazine, Incentive, Cabling Business Magazine, Towing and Recovery Footnotes, and International Bowling Industry Magazine. I write corporate/personal profiles, as well as general business information pieces. Additionally, I have experience writing for women's magazines, including ALL YOU magazine, in the areas of household finance/savings; health/fitness; family/parenting; and general "how-to" articles. I was responsible for membership growth through sponsorships and events, and I engaged members in online conversation.
