Election season is in full swing.
If you have an absentee ballot, fill it out and mail it back right away!
You can vote early in person tomorrow at thr Johnston Public Library or at the Polk County Auditor's Office until November 6th during normal business hours.

The phrase "never forget" isn't just about never forgetting what happened on September 11th.
It is about never forgetting the first responders who sacrificed their health and sometimes lives to rescue people from the towers.
It is about never forgetting how we set aside our differences to rebuild, something that is even more important to remember in these incredibly divided times.
It is about never forgetting how fragile our democracy is, and how we must be ever vigilant against those internally and externally who would seek to destroy this democratic republic.

In 2022, many of the students who are now in college didn't get a chance to vote.
This weekend is Labor Day weekend, meaning many students will be coming home.
For many, it may be the only time they come home between now and the election.
Parents, please use/share this link to download and print an absentee ballot. Ensure your child's vote is counted in upcoming School Board and City Council elections. We need every vote!
