Thank You to all those who Served and Sacrificed so much for our Freedoms!!

At 6:30am on June 6, 1944, the first American troops landed at Utah & Omaha beaches in Normandy.
On this D-Day anniversary, we honor those who gave their lives in service to freedom and remember the legacy they left behind.
With gratitude, we remember the Greatest Generation.
Lest we forget.

As we approach Memorial Day, here are a few reminders: 1) US Flag (fly at Half Staff from Sunrise to Noon, then raise to Full Staff until Sunset). 2) Observe a National Moment of Remembrance (Silence) at 3 PM local time.

Today I had the honor to work alongside 100's of other volunteers to place flags on approximately 18,000 graves at the VA National Cemetery. The flags will be up for a week, please go by and pay your respect and see the cost of freedom. Let us remember that Memorial Day is not a three day weekend for cookouts, and taking the boats out on the lake, but a time to remember the sacrifices of the men and women that gave it all.
