Thursday morning we set out to minister on the beach we prayed with a family of Christians witnessed to several, spent time encouraging a young man that is trying to live a Christian life and prayed with him. Then headed back to the foundation to spend time with the boys.

Wednesday we set out on a mission to purchase as many hygiene products as we could with what we had. The supply at the foundation was extremely low, they were completely out of most of the items. So we made the trip to the capital. It took visiting 3 stores to get the necessary items and more is needed.

Tuesday we set out in a community known for witchcraft to spread the gospel. We met up with a local Pastor that went with us for part of the time. We prayed with people for healing and for community. And prayed for protection over a police officer on the street. Then we headed back to the foundation to see the boys and serve them a meal.

Monday morning we landed in the Dominican Republic. We spent the morning preparing for the week ahead and spent the afternoon with the girls at the foundation. The girls decided that they wanted to rub Jacob’s bald head so he had to make a quick escape.

It is that time of year again! Last year we took up hygiene products to take to the kids in the Dominican Republic. Due to customs taking things that are being brought in we have decided to take up monetary donations and purchase the items in the Dominican Republic. The cost of these items is around $2000 to purchase hygiene products for 100 students for one time a year. We would love to be able to supply these products two times a year.

If we raise enough funds we would like to purchase their school supplies as well.

We are currently helping families affected by the South Georgia fires and are in need of a facility where we can collect and sort donated items.
