Last year I took the money I was going to use to replace my 13 year old bow and bought my first Stihl Chainsaw. I was cutting a huge stump one day with my daughter with me and she said "daddy can you make something with your chainsaw?" I said I'll try. I then made my first chair out of Oak. After the chair I found a buddy who had some standing dead ash tree's he let me cut down and use for carving

First project in about 4 years. Hand sanded down to 2,000 grit and 1 coat of oil. It’s so smooth it feels like marble. 😍
