So happy to announce we are getting a nail technician!!!!

Hello! My name is Ceara Fair, but many of you know me as Ceara Martinez. I was raised in Jay my entire life and attended Jay Public Schools from Kindergarten through High School. In 2019, I moved to Claremore where I met and eventually married my husband Sheldon Fair. Not long after we met Sheldon convinced me to quit my job as a CNA and follow my dream of becoming a Nail Technician. I graduated from Clary Sage in 2020 with the plan of becoming a Medical Nail Technician. Immediately out of school I took a position as a salon nail tech until I found the job as a medical nail technician. I fell in love with the salon setting so I just never left, but because my original path was Medical Nail Technician I became very familiar with persistent nail issues such as in-grown toe nails, Fungal issues and even have a large cliental with diabetic related foot issues. It has always been a goal of mine to come back home to Jay and open a much needed nail salon! While I’m not currently opening my own salon, I am excited to have been given the opportunity to perform nail services at That Hair Place in Jay. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and new ones to build my cliental. I will be in Jay Thursday Friday and Saturday’s of every week starting in February. I look forward to pampering each and every one of you!

Here are the Oklahoma State Board Of Cosmetology rules and regulations for going back to work...
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
1. Stylists MUST wear a face mask at all times while guests are in the salon.
2. Clients SHOULD wear a mask to the extent that a service will allow or shall be provided with a clean towel to cover nose and mouth when a mask would impede a service.
3. Neck strips or clean towels need to be between the skin and the cape at all times.
4. Each new guest has to have a fresh, clean, disinfected cape.
5. Guests shall remain in their cars until the service provider is ready to serve them.
6. Each establishment shall have no more than 1 person inside at a time.
7. Surfaces, tools, shampoo areas, chairs, equipment, etc MUST be disinfected with proper contact times between each guest.
**These are just a few, so PLEASE read thoroughly and follow all the guidelines before reopening your salons.
