And....DONE! Feels so much lighter and brighter! I used 12” subway tiles. They have a bit of beige/off white. Pure white looked harsh against that granite.
Now I’m itchin’ to get rid of that floor!!! 🥴🤪

Today’s project....the first set of cabinets for the fireplace. We picked up these solid wood cabinets at DLCabinetry in Jax Fl while we were down for Thanksgiving. Building the casing out of 3/4 Birch plywood. Still needs trim, crown, handles, and a couple coats of paint. Hopefully will finish up in the next few days! Stay tuned...😉

Addy’s creation. Proud of her and her creativity. We cut everything from the yard. There’s boxwood, holly berries, arborvitae, and juniper. If you don’t follow you’re missing out! Addy watched a few of the videos with me...was inspired...and wanted to go make her own thing. ☺️

Finally laid the new in the spare room! So happy to get rid of this carpet. Now to finish the office and all the main living area will have these wood floors. Surprisingly...they were not too difficult to install!!

And it’s done!!! I’m in love! 😍 So glad we built the hearth up. The herringbone marble tile was such a pain to cut and lay....but so worth it!

Another wall complete! Swipe to see the before photo of when the house was listed. I’m terrible about remembering to take before pics. 🤦🏻♀️ The girls loved the hearts on the wall so I kept some. In total...this wall cost about $40. Now to find a headboard! I’m thinking a metal black one? We did just order the wood floors for this room too! Can’t wait to get those installed!

Another project ✔️ This office has been a “catch all” since we moved in. This took about a day to build and paint. I used MDF 6” for the baseboard, 4” for the top by the ceiling and 3” for all the grid. It’s painted in Now this room looks and feels soooo much better! @ Ooltewah, Tennessee
