We have been trying to get down there for a couple of months now, but all kinds of events have been getting in the way of doing so. The Turkey was so tender, moist, and heavenly! Now our next goal is for a Baked Potato on Tuesday!😃

What do we do with brisket trimmings? We make beef tallow and ground beef for burgers. After rendering the fat, you are left with what I call “beef bits” that I sprinkle with salt. Goes great on a baked tater.
