An Afternoon in Morocco
The Miners' Bazaar
April 18th, 4:00-6:00 pm
with Anna Elkins & Christina Ammon & Alix Geo

Come celebrate the release of Anna's new book When We Become Trees .

She will be reading a selection of Morocco-themed poems and Applegate writer Christina Ammon will read a selection from Deep Travel's anthology. We will also have Jacksonville's own Alix George reading a piece inspired by our November trip to Morocco.

We will also tell you about our upcoming tour there in March 2027. Perhaps you'd like to join the adventure!

After the readings, artist-owner Rosie Taylor will offer a Morocco-inspired print-making craft with pre-carved lino block for $10.

You can also purchase one of her signature Giggle-Water beverages: she’ll be creating a special orange-mint shrub just for the occasion. She also has a splendid menu of other food & drink to try.

There are still 20 tickets left for this year's Apple Players homegrown theater production this year!
