Bro… being constantly smoked, irritable, running on caffeine, sleeping like trash, and living in fight-or-flight… that isn’t “just the job.”
That’s survival mode. And too many guys wear it like a badge of honor.
Hypervigilance isn’t high performance.
Burnout isn’t toughness.
Running on empty isn’t discipline.
It’s dysfunction that got normalized.
Science is clear—chronic sympathetic overload wrecks hormones, sleep, recovery, digestion, and decision-making.
And faith says there’s a better way than living bound up all the time.
You were built for readiness… not constant internal war.
Downshift. Breathe. Recover. Rebuild.
