Since the passing of her father, Brooks Clayton, Kathy has stepped into this role carrying forward a legacy that has shaped Mid-South for more than four decades. Under Mr. Clayton’s leadership, Mid-South Color Labs grew into a nationally recognized lab, trusted by many of the country’s top professional photographers for its unwavering commitment to quality, service, and innovation.
As President, Kathy is continuing to uphold the high standards her father established; while also helping to guide Mid-South into its next chapter. We remain committed to our dedication to craftsmanship, consistency, and partnership with the professionals we serve. Mid-South Color Labs remains the same company our clients have relied on for years - now with a renewed focus on the future.
We look forward to elevating your print experience.

We have been closed since Monday due to winter weather. Our roads here are iced over since Saturday. Even FedEx is not taking deliveries. We're not sure when we'll reopen, but we'll keep you posted.

Remembering our founder and friend, Brooks Clayton (March 27, 1943 – October 7, 2025).

Brooks was the proud owner of Mid-South Color Labs in Jackson, TN, which he led for over 40 years with dedication and care. His leadership and vision shaped the company into both a trusted name and a close-knit workplace family. Under his guidance, Mid-South Color Labs provides professional photographic finishing services that reach far beyond West Tennessee. He and his team create works of art that garner respect from clients across the US and beyond. In true Brooks spirit, he continued to lead the company full time up until the time of his death.
