JH Girls Volleyball competed at home last night against Poplar Bluff.

The White team lost in 3 sets while the Red and Black team were both winners in 2 sets!

Teams are back in action Friday night at HOME versus Massac County. The first game starts at 4:30. Make plans to come out and watch some great volleyball!

Volleyball started off the season at Dexter tonight. All teams looked really impressive!! The future is bright for Jackson Volleyball. Big wins for the Red team and the Black team tonight over solid Dexter squads.

Congratulations to Coach Darnell.
Coach D was awarded the 2025 Missouri Jr H Coach of the Year.
Coach D has been such an impactful part of the Jackson VB Program for the past xx years.
She brings so much energy and enthusiasm in everything she does and she is so deserving of this great honor.
Coach D has been the 8th grade coach for 5 seasons. Her record at Jackson Jr H is 90-0.

Update Regarding Cheer Tryouts:

The submission deadline for all MSHSAA paperwork and the Tryout Packet has been extended to next Wednesday, 02/04.

- Current 7th graders should submit all paperwork through FinalForms.

- Current 6th graders should submit all paperwork to the Middle School Office.

Candidates interested in trying out should check their email for additional details regarding clinics and tryouts scheduled for next week.

There will be NO Cheer open gym today due to school be canceled.

🏀JJHS Boys Basketball teams end the season tonight at Sikeston.

8th grade falls 53-45 and the 7th grade falls 53-18.

Wednesday, December 17th, against Sikeston — game time has been changed to 5:00 start for the 7th grade. The 8th grade game will follow.
