Proud to be at Try Trades in Big Flats, NY today, helping introduce young people to the opportunities that come with building a career in the trades.

Events like this are a great way for kids to have some fun while also getting a hands-on look at the skills, teamwork, and hard work that make our industry strong. One of the highlights of the day will be the wheelbarrow races, where they’ll get a chance to compete, laugh, and experience a small part of what it means to work together.

The trades offer more than just a job — they offer a future, a skillset, and a chance to build something real. We’re always proud to support events that help inspire the next generation.

Laborers Local 785 Shows Up Strong at the Binghamton St. Patrick’s Day Parade ☘️

What an incredible day in Binghamton on Saturday! The energy along the parade route was electric and the crowds were huge. With the warm weather and thousands lining the streets, it felt like the entire community came out to celebrate.

Laborers Local 785 showed up loud and proud. Our bright LIUNA orange shirts stood out all the way down the route — you couldn’t miss us! Members, family, and friends walked together representing the strength and unity of our local and the labor movement.

From the chants and cheers to the smiles and high-fives from the crowd, it was clear that union pride is alive and well in our community. Seeing our members marching together — from apprentices to seasoned laborers — is always something special.

Thank you to everyone who came out to walk with us and represent Local 785. Your energy, pride, and commitment are what make this union strong.
