Had this board backshelved for 25 yrs. It had some issues with air bubbles so I never finished it. It was one of my earlier pressings and I had a lot to still work out.
I've been wanting to cut a swallow tail into a board for a while now. So this seems like a good one to practice with.
I used this top sheet to hide some of the unsightly air bubbles trapped in the glass of the top of the OG layup. Not much I could do about the bubbles under the base.
Others I built with this same glass layup were a bit more stiff than I fancy. So I'm hoping this cut in the tail will do the trick.

All set with the race board to foil conversion. The base on this needed a bit more structure.
Modified the back traction pad; needed a ramp. Gonna put the straps on n we're good to go!

Too cold to foil, but not too cold to build a new set up!
