Hello Everyone, today is 12/12/12, this is the last time we will ever see the same sequence of numbers. A perfect time to celebrate with some tasty treats :)

So here it is Peppermint Sugar Cookie Recipe!

1 stick of unsalted butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 sugar
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 to 3/4 cup of crushed peppermint candies

1.Heat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2.Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into your mixture at low speed just until blended. Stir in 1/4 -1/2 cup crushed candy. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet or use parchment paper first on your baking sheet.
3.Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately sprinkle each cookie with about 1/4 teaspoon crushed candy.. Remove to rack to cool completely.
