As indicated in a previous communication, The rebate will be set at $2.25 There are a total of four-1 Mega Watt blocks. Once 1 Mega Watt (1000 Kilo-Watts) of Photo Voltaic systems pass the Pre-Approval process, the rebate level will drop by $.25 the following business day. This has occurred, effective April 13, 2010. The Mega Watt block is a combination of residential, commercial and municipal PV systems.

LIPA shifted to a "Traunch" program (similar to in the past), whereby the first Megawatt will be paid as follows: PIONEER $2.25/w

Hello Friends, Effective March 1st at 12AM the solar rebates program will be adjusted as described below. LIPA will be shifting to a "Traunch" program (similar to in the past), whereby the first Megawatt will be paid as follows: PIONEER $2.50/w

In other words, if you are on the fence on getting a solar system the rebate is going down on Monday from $2.75. Please call us by Saturday to get the paperwork into LIPA to lockin the current rebate level to use towards your system. Call Ken 631-335-1882
