According to a study by Microsoft, the average human being now has an attention span of seven seconds. This is a sharp decrease from the average attention span of 12 seconds in the year 2000. More shocking, perhaps, is the fact that research from Jampp found that human attention span decreases by a whopping 88 percent every year. In fact, scientists reckon we now have shorter attention spans than goldfish, who are able to focus on a task or object for 9 seconds.⁣

We are very excited to announce that CA Governor Newsom has signed ! As of January 1, 2020 if your student needs their assisted technology 24/7 they are now allowed to have it! If you have issues with districts complying with this please contact us and we will be happy to explain the brand new law to them!!!

New month. New beginnings. Something about summer that is so youthful and invigorating. This month we are launching our Nonverbal Therapeutic Intervention training course, which pairs well with our Instructional Control course. Group sessions, 1:1 sessions, and clinical coaching available.

Today I had the privilege of presenting, and providing 1:1 training, to a private practice of SLPs.

What better way to start your day, than by sitting with families to answer any questions they may have and providing them strategies to facilitate speech and language development! All consultation services are donation based, because we believe that EVERYONE should have access to support in navigating services.
