360° CAMERA
LinkVR’s 360° camera is designed to beautifully capture and deliver ready to use content. Current products require a wide array of tools: dedicated cameras, customized camera rigs, and state-of-the-art stitching software. While this provided 360° content, the software was limited because the cameras weren’t designed for 360° content. With this in mind, LinkVR engineered the first complete 360° camera package from the ground up for professionals and enterprises. Constructed with six 1080p 120° FOV CMOS sensors, various software aliasing-minimizing optimizations and an on-board, real-time stitching, Link’s integrated solution provides the most realistic and immersive experience for next-generation storytelling in seamless, high-resolution 4K. This allows clients to focus on what’s important -- producing engaging content, taking the user anywhere from floor seats in a basketball game to a hiking expedition in the Himalayas. Unique, interactive content requires a unique, interactive player. Current 360° players focus on one medium, either exclusively on mobile platforms or on upcoming head-mounted displays (HMDs). In order to address this, LinkVR developed a proprietary 360° panoramic viewer and video player for distribution of any 360° content across all major desktop, mobile platforms and VR headsets. Link is actively looking into improving user interactions and experiences. Through interactive navigation, the user is able to actively take part in the action and experience immersive content from every angle.
