As some may know, a fire broke out the evening of March 7, 2023, at the business adjacent to Hansen Asphalt. While the fire destroyed our property and equipment, we are infinitely grateful that no one was hurt. Our Hansen Asphalt team, nearby residents, and employees from other businesses are all safe.

We want to take a moment to thank the emergency response teams, businesses, and individuals who came to our aid during such a difficult time. The outpouring of support from our community has been incredible, and we are touched by all of you who have reached out to offer your help. Your calls, your care, and your commitment to Hansen Asphalt reminds us once again how lucky we are to be part of this community.

As our dad always said, “One day does not a summer make.” While the fire may have devastated our property, it hasn’t broken our spirit. We are working hard to rebuild and expect to be fully operational for the 2023 paving season.

Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
Wage to commensurate with experience and/or possession of CDL
Day shift including overtime; some projects may require night work
Monday to Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays as needed

Position Requirements:

Be able to stand for long time periods
Walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Possess valid driver’s license with insurable driving record a must
High School/GED

Preferred:
Commercial Driver License
Previous asphalt, concrete, grading, or seal coat experience
Previous experience doing outdoor labor work in extreme heat

Truck driver is responsible for the safe operation of a dump truck
Haul materials from location to location within a construction site and asphalt plants as well as loading and unloading materials
Drivers are required to observe standard safety practices when operating all trucks
Wage to commensurate with experience and CDL class type

Position Requirements:
Must:
Possess a Class A or B CDL (Class A Preferred) with Air Brake endorsement
Have prior driving experience
Ability to work 40-60 hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime and nights as required depending on projects.
Ability to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods of time
Able to perform preventative and minor truck repairs
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English for directions and writing product tickets
