Congratulations to Salma Hassan for receiving the Graduate College Post-Comprehensive Research Fellowship for Spring 2025!
This fellowship program provides an opportunity for advanced Ph.D. students to benefit from protected and supported time to pursue their scholarly research activities. This fellowship is awarded to those students who have shown excellence in both their academic coursework and their scholarly research.
Salma received this award working in Dr. Drack’s lab in the Cell and Developmental Biology Graduate Program. She is a member of our 2022-23 BSP Cohort and we couldn’t be more excited for her!

Congratulations to Jianyu Yu on being first author of the paper "Determination of the FABP5 expression profile in skin lesions of an IMQ-induced psoriasis mouse model using flow cytometry" in the journal 'Star Protocols'!
Jianyu is a member of the 2021-22 BSP Cohort and is now a valued member of Dr. Bing Li’s lab in the Molecular Medicine program.

Congratulations to our current BSP student Sophie Granger on being the first author on the paper “Human hnRNPA1 reorganizes telomere-bound Replication Protein A” to be published by Nucleic Acids Research!
