The Frame Station has had an exciting summer and fall, with a variety of projects that have come thru. A concert poster with memorabilia, hockey jerseys and drumsticks with the practice snare. With the approaching Holidays, our hours this week are as follows. Monday - Wednesday, 10:00am to 1:00pm, CLOSED on Thursday, OPEN Friday 10:00 - 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am - 1:00pm. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday September 14th thru Monday September 19th. the shop will be CLOSED. We will be celebrating 🍾 my Sons wedding. On Tuesday September 20th the shop RE OPENS. Below are some recent projects we finished for you to look at, maybe give you some ideas . Enjoy!

We framed some new work by Marcia Wegman, local Iowa City artist working in pastels. Always amazing work.

We have new work by Roberta Williams, Urban Landscapes, 12 x12 oils on canvas. Choose your frame. Great Holiday gift idea! Several to choose. Hours for the Thanksgiving holiday, Wednesday 10 -3 p.m. Closed Thursday, Open Friday 10 - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10- 1p.m.

The Frame Station was honored in framing jerseys which were given to Hayden Fry's children during Saturdays game against Minnesota. The kid's chose the numbers for their jerseys. Can you remember the player names associated with those number's? Thank you to the University of Iowa Athletics Development for this project.

These photos are examples of our work from this past summer. Definitely some interesting pieces, always challenging. A reminder that we will be CLOSED this Saturday Sept. 4th and Monday Sept. 6th for the Labor Day Holiday. COVID Update: The good news is that The Frame Station is able to remain open for business! We want to thank all of our customers for your continued support while practicing health-safety.

in spite of supply challenges, we have been able to complete every order but with the holiday deadline quickly approaching, we encourage you to place your order as soon as possible. Our suppliers are facing their own challenges and are working hard to fill orders but we have experienced some delays. We do have stock on hand if you are needing a project finished more quickly, but the choices are more limited.

We are asking you to make an appointment to assure quick service as we have a limit of one customer/family unit in the shop at a time. If you want to stop by, please call from the parking lot and if there are no other customers, we'll invite you in or meet you in the parking lot with curb-side service. Opening reception for Marcia Wegmans abstracts, Playing with Paint, is this Friday at the Iowa Artisans Gallery. Masks will be required during the reception from 5 - 6:30. If you can't make this reception, I recommend getting to the gallery before Dec. 4th to see this show. The Frame Station did all the framing, but these originals are amazing. Colorful and vibrant would describe these perfectly. Enjoy!

It's not everyday you get a call from the " Big Office", but we did. Desi Druschel, currently a pitching coach for the New York Yankees, was an Assistant Coach for the University of Iowa Baseball team. The Frame Station has framed the senior jerseys for some time now and Desi liked our work. So he called and sent the jersey to us that he is presenting to his father.
