We've got STUDS!! It's time to FRAME the Billie Townsend Women Build Home, and everyone can participate in this fun and meaningful way to put some love into a Habitat home. There are two ways to participate in the Billie Townsend Women Build Frame-A-Thon:

💛Decorate a stud (2x4 board) on your own time. Follow bit.ly/24frame and reserve your board. You will arrange a time with Habitat staff to pick up your stud at the Habitat office starting June 17. Decorate your board and return it to the Habitat office by July 26.
🖤Join our Decorating Party! RSVP and reserve your board at bit.ly/24frame On July 27, guests will join Billie and the Women Build committee to decorate boards, learn about Women Build, and enjoy lunch and live music by Home Brewed!

‼Reservations for either participation option are required!

Our Iowa City ReStore is partnering with The City of Iowa City Public Works Department to repurpose thousands of bricks once located in Iowa City's Downtown Pedestrian Mall. We need your help keeping these historic and reusable materials in circulation. Join us on-site to sort and stack the bricks to be transported to the ReStore for sale.

➡️Where: Iowa City Storage Lot at the intersection of McCollister Blvd and Old Hwy 218

If you want to take some of these bricks home, remember that all IVHFH volunteers are eligible for a 10% discount at ReStore! All proceeds will benefit IVHFH's affordable housing programs.

Let's Celebrate!! We are excited to invite everyone to several special events to mark the completion of the Mary Mascher Women Build home! Be sure to take note that the Dedication Ceremony will not take place at the home and instead, we will gather at Grant Wood Elementary School. Open houses will take place at the house. It's our 10 year partner-versary with The Vine Youth Ministry group of St. Norbert and Our Lady of the Brook Parish! We are incredibly thankful to be hosting our friends again this week. You can find them volunteering their time on our build sites and in our ReStore! It's our favorite week of the summer!
