I used to hate hats on myself. Turns out I just needed to find the right one.

Sew in extensions FTW! We added about 3-4” and the perfect amount of fullness with just one track. This is her first time wearing sew-ins and she is loving them! They are tried and true for the least amount of breakage while wearing extensions and growing your hair out.

A refresh of our favorite three-color “dimensional red” with some bright pops of Copper and Dark Violet Red for some gorgeous contrast in multiple warm tones. Obsessed. With. it.

formula:
sliced foils w 20vol + powder lightener alternating with 4/66 20vol foils (leaving some out for base color)
Focusing around the face and below occipital for dimension in front and through the length in back
Covered the rest with 66.46 w 20vol processing 30 min
Tone lightened pieces in bowl with 8.4 10vol

I had the pleasure of transforming this beautiful head of hair on this amazing woman I get to call my friend. 🥰💓

I was inspired. We are working towards a narrower mullet and I am so pleased.

She wanted a black to silver blonde ombré but came in with a previous color job that left a whole lot of problems to work with. After 3 hours of bleaching and toning we get this beautiful darker “on-tone” ombré that she absolutely loves. Knowing that it will fade slightly lighter after washing a couple times, I’m completely happy with how it turned out. Sent her home with the Amika Bustyourbrass Combo and recommended coming back in 6 weeks for another toning to cover any underlying warmth that pops up.

Swipe to see how we got from Auburn to Mauve! Psst! It took 3.5 hrs! I started this process by having her do some at-home clarifying before coming in. She had been coloring it herself for a looooong time. Then I applied lightener with 30 vol at the root and 40v through the rest. She processed for 50 min w a cap. I then toned in-bowl with a level 8AB or 8.18 to eliminate as much orange as I could. That got us to a nice fairly even base. A strawberry blonde. I used with a little at the first four inches, and a little Deviant with a lot of light purple and through the rest for the lighter mauve tone. We weren’t sure if we would achieve it in the first session but I call this a huge success! She loves it💓
