That, along with photographing weddings at different venues for 5 years, taught me a lot about what makes a good venue.
While giving tours, I often found myself giving a bit of advice to couples along the way.
My favorite piece of advice? This is YOUR day! Don’t get pressured into spending it any other way than how you want to. And have fun with it! Throw out the rule book!
But also, educate yourself. If you’re not out here planning a wedding every day, there’s a few things you should know.

From the moment I received this email from Emily I couldnt wait to film their wedding. There wedding journey has been a tough journey with covid changes. But despite all of the last minute changes their wedding day was filled with laughter and great memories. These two were such a joy. Laughing and dancing the entire day. :)
"Hello! My name is Emily, and my fiance's name is Roger. We met on the cancer unit where we were both working, him as a brand new physician and me as a nurse. We shared a patient that would be discharging the hospital, and Roger forgot to order saline flushes for the patient's drain. I paged him; two minutes later I hear from behind me, "are you Emily?" I turned around and looked up to his big blue eyes and brown McDreamy hair...blinked a few times and finally replied, "........yes." For the next 8 months, I'd tell my friends, "I made eye contact with Roger today, were basically getting married." On Cinco de Mayo, I got the nerve to ask him out for margaritas and queso. He said yes. Then 1 year and 7 months after that, he asked me to marry him...and I said yes.
Our love story has been a fairly tale for us from the very moment we met, and we would love nothing more than to have a special video to watch on one of the greatest days of our lives.
