Oh that squirrel is so sweet and harmless.

[08/02/18]   If you get in a minor accident on a busy highway or at a busy intersection, it can be very unsafe to get out and inspect the damage. If it’s at all possible, you should get the cars out of the flow of traffic. If you can’t drive them, then stay in the car and call for help.

[07/31/18]   According to some auto experts, unintentional encounters with trash cans are the leading cause of minor collisions requiring car repairs. Colliding with parked cars and other stationary objects is the second most common cause of damage.

[07/26/18]   Mirrors in the wrong position will keep you from seeing your blind spots, and they can actually make them worse. Make sure that your mirrors are in good repair and in the right positions so you can drive as safely as possible.

[07/24/18]   You may already know the rear end collision is the most common type of automobile accident. Care to guess how frequently rear end crashes occur in the U.S.? If you guessed every 8 seconds or so, you're right.

[07/19/18]   Did you know that according to one study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, seat belts save an estimated 14,903 lives of passenger vehicle occupants over the age of 4? Everyone in your vehicle should be wearing a seat belt every time you get behind the wheel.

[07/17/18]   If you and your vehicle have been involved in an accident, you know that it is a stressful time. To help ease some stress and save some time, take your car directly to the repair shop and not to an insurance claim or adjustment center first. It is your insurance provider’s responsibility to come to you, not the other way around.

[07/12/18]   Operating a vehicle with one tire that’s under-inflated by 6 lbs. per square inch can reduce the life of the tire and increase fuel consumption by 3%. It can also reduce your handling, so keeping your tires at the right pressure also keeps you safe.

[07/10/18]   During the repair process, we may remove any undamaged, non-structural parts that may interfere with repairs, or that could be damaged during the repair process. In addition, this allows us to check structural sections that may have suffered damage in the collision.

[07/05/18]   Well maintained cars are safer cars, so it’s important to make sure you change your oil on a regular basis. Regular inspections are also important to make sure that all the parts of your car (engine to tires) are working properly.

[07/03/18]   Not all dents are good candidates for paintless dent removal. If the finish or underlying paint coats are cracked or crazed, the color and finish must be reapplied to protect your vehicle and produce a smooth, like-new gloss.

[06/28/18]   Being stranded with a dead battery or faulty ignition system is never good, but it’s even worse when it’s dangerously cold outside. When it starts to get cold, it’s a good idea to have your electrical system checked by a professional.

[06/26/18]   The vast majority of auto collision repairs are the result of relatively minor incidents. The most frequent causes are scrapes and reduced-speed encounters with parked cars, dumpsters, telephone poles, trash cans, trees, sign posts, and similar stationary objects.

[06/21/18]   Keep in mind that air bag systems are meant to be supplemental to seat belt restraint systems. Air bags are meant only to cushion the contact between a driver and the steering wheel and/or dashboard and not to restrain the passenger in the front seat.

[06/19/18]   Over 85% of all reported automobile crashes where a teenager was involved and responsible for the accident stated that “driver error” was attributed for the cause. Not speed. Not drugs. Not alcohol.

[06/14/18]   No matter how perfectly your car runs, it won’t help if your tires can’t grip the road. Make sure to check your tires regularly for signs of wear. Bald or worn tires without enough tread should be replaced before they lead to accidents.

[06/12/18]   While no one wants to, or plans to be, in an automobile collision, it is still a good idea to be prepared just in case. Take time to periodically review your collision insurance, so you understand its terms and conditions and exactly what is covered.

[06/07/18]   Getting caught on the side of road can have serious consequences in the wrong conditions. Make sure you’re prepared by carrying an emergency kit in your car. Include things like flares, jumper cables, extra clothes, blankets, a flashlight, emergency food, water, and a first-aid kit.

[06/05/18]   Part of the reason auto body shops are so good at what they do is because of the advanced technology they have available. These include equipment and systems that can remove and reinstall components like frames, suspensions, and engines.

[05/31/18]   When you don’t live close to the dealership where you bought your car, it can be a time-consuming pain to drive all the way out there whenever your car needs regular maintenance. Whether you need a simple oil change or other maintenance performed, we’re always here to help.

[05/31/18]   Wearing a seat belt is one of the most important things you can do to protect against injury. Seat belts help to prevent internal injuries by spreading the force of the collision across two of the strongest areas in the human body: the pelvis and the upper chest.

[05/29/18]   In addition to regular oil changes, make sure to rotate your tires. Rotating them keeps wear balanced, and extends their life, making them safer over the long run, and less likely to fail in an emergency.

[05/29/18]   It’s a common misconception that a vehicle is totaled if the frame is damaged in an accident. This isn’t necessarily the case. As long as the cost of repairs isn’t more than a certain percentage of the total value of the car, insurance will pay for the body shop to repair frame damage as well as other types.

[05/24/18]   Did you know that the way most of us normally drive is considered severe with respect to oil changes? Stop and go traffic in the city is one of the most common severe driving elements.

[05/24/18]   Are you going to head out on a road trip soon? The best thing you can do is to plan ahead before you hit the road. Check the weather reports for your destination and the road on the way. Use this information to make sure you have enough time in your schedule and the right supplies.

[05/22/18]   It’s important to remember that you won’t always be able to wait three or six months between your oil changes. If you regularly drive on rough or dusty terrain, it may be necessary to have more frequent oil changes.

[05/22/18]   Removing dents has become a science, and paintless dent repair means that we can remove many of these dings without having to do anything further once they are fixed. However, if the dent is too large, or the metal has creased, more extensive work may be needed.

[05/18/18]   It can be easy to forget how crucial lights are to safety until you suddenly have to manage without them. Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and interior lights should all be checked periodically. If there are any problems, get them fixed as soon as possible.

[05/15/18]   Did you walk out of work, a store, or some other location and found that someone had banged you bumper or crumpled a fender, leaving you with unsightly damage? Bring your car to us and we will have it looking like new in no time.

[05/10/18]   If you want to keep your car running smoothly, try to avoid letting the car sit with a near empty gas tank. When sediment in gasoline becomes concentrated, it can get into your engine and damage it.

[05/10/18]   It’s especially important that you properly maintain your car during the winter driving season. This means having the battery checked, making sure the tire tread is deep enough to handle skids, and checking your antifreeze levels.

[05/08/18]   There are many different aspects involved in auto collision repair, depending on the extent and severity of the damage. These include the replacement of entire sections, structural replacement, and frame repair.

[05/03/18]   There is great debate lately about how frequently the oil in a vehicle should be changed, and the 3000-mile recommendation is no longer the standard. However, that does not mean you can go forever before changing the car’s oil. Check the owner’s manual for your car for proper guidelines.

[05/01/18]   It's always a good idea to check your power steering fluid levels whenever checking oil levels. If power steering fluid levels become low, air bubbles can enter the system and create steering response problems. If this occurs, the power steering system should be flushed and refilled with new fluid.
