A cool way to convert a garage to an additional parking space--this car lift is manufactured in Des Moines and only costs about $4,000 making it a fraction the cost to add a garage addition, if you have the ceiling height.

So excited about this kitchen with a scullery in a recent new build project we just completed. The scullery works like a pantry but complete with a full set of secondary kitchen appliances. Scullery’s are perfect prep kitchens and spaces to use when you are entertaining to not clutter up the main focal piece and hang-out space of your home—the kitchen.

Meet Gabby Pauwels, one of our three designers at Elevation Home Builders. Gabby is our New Build Designer, working with our new build clients on helping them pick finishes, putting together design boards and create a timeless interiors.

She's currently managing ten of our new build projects under construction.

Meet Kim Marshall, our company's new CEO. She has been in a much earned maternity leave this summer and just rejoined work this week to so much excitement. Kim joined our company last year working along our founder, Amy Pretorius. She previously worked as a designer at a luxury furniture store, RH, in Santa Monica and brings her interior design and management skills to the company's leadership. We have some amazing projects we can't wait to announce. Stay tuned and congratulate Kim on her new role with our company.

Some outdoor spaces getting wrapped up at this new build including a large 22-foot covered porch facing the wooded ravine and a screened porch featuring an outdoor fireplace as well as a covered porch entry with wooden beams.

A statement entry makes all the difference when entering the home. This new build featured in the 2019 Parade of Homes showcased that drama with bleached oak hardwood flooring laid in a herringbone-pattern, a custom metal railing circling the open staircase that winds up to a landing featuring a dormer that pours light in from above. It's a minimalistic design but replete with small details that make a big difference.

A few of our kitchen projects over the years—from remodels to new builds. Which is your favorite?

One of the fun aspects of building or remodeling your home is picking out counters. It’s rare for our entire design team to be together but this project is special, they’re picking out the slab for the new design center remodel at the Elevation’s office. Stay tuned for a sneak peek on this project coming soon!

Sometimes we have to take it down to see its' full potential. And a wall--yes a 'pink' one--can best showcase a room when it's removed.

Our new build division has been busy working on this large 6,000+ SF home. The main level is taking form with a 124' frontage.

Recently completed two-story wall of wainscotting featured in one of Elevation’s new builds. It is always a fun challenge to see how we can incorporate visual details in large spaces. Our carpentry team are always tailoring our custom needs whether that is a remodel or new build.

Creating mood boards with selections is a great way for clients to visualize how a space will come together. Our design team will create a presentation on every project for owners to pick and choose what suits their needs best. This laundry and powder room is a sneak peak of a remodel project in progress. Follow along to see how this gets incorporated into the physical space!

Elevation carpenter Matt Krupp reviews cabinets after they were delivered from the manufacturer wrong. The cabinets were supposed to be finished inside with open door frames for glass uppers. The manufacturer sent new ones but in production and delivery would take 3 weeks. Needing a quick solution, he routering the doors and adding cane created a temporary but stylish fix--just in time to make the Parade of Homes.
