The Tailgater’s Guide to Iowa City, Revised 2021 Edition Whether you’ve been coming to Iowa City for years or are in town for your first game, we’re diving in to everything you need to make your Hawkeye gameday experience enjoyable.

We are just 2 ½ very short weeks away from the first game of the year. We are SUPER PUMPED to have everyone back to tailgate with us at The Sanchez after nearly 2 years! As per usual, we are again asking for any donations that you are willing to provide to help us out with the upfront costs of hosting the best tailgate in Iowa City. If you would like to donate ahead of time, please contact Jason, Jeremy, Matt, Maggie, or Drew directly, or you can also send us a message here on Facebook and we'll hook you up with a way to donate via Matt’s Venmo. If you want, you can also wait and donate on game day. Whether drinking our beer, or even bringing your own (we'll have cooler space if you need it), we would greatly appreciate whatever you can that would help us out. These donations help us pay for the parking, repairs/upgrades, and the beer. We spend an ENORMOUS amount of our own money every year to keep our tailgate running and even a little bit helps alleviate our out of pocket costs.
