My tailpipe was hanging low before i left home, 50 miles north of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I had to come to Iowa city on an emergency basis, my father in law was dying. I didn’t have time to have it looked at, at home, so i secured it with a piece of chain. When I got to Iowa City, it was making me very nervous. I went to Professional Muffler and they immediately had my truck up on the lift. The muffler had rusted so the tailpipe was coming loose. This was a Friday afternoon so they wouldn’t be able to get a new muffler in until Tuesday. Since I didn’t know if I would still be in the area until Tuesday, I didn’t want them to order the muffler. They took another look and decided that they could weld the tailpipe on so I could at least get back to Wisconsin. They very quickly got that done, I don’t think I was at the shop more than 15 minutes total. When I went to pay, they said i had enough problems because of my father in law, and not to worry about the bill, it was on them. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being a ray of sunshine in a dark day.
