Congratulations to Tom of Apex Construction!
We recently completed an AeroBarrier job for Apex Construction on the Prairie Hill project. We tested the air leakage of the house in real time as we sealed using this revolutionary technology, and achieved results under 2 ACH50, which is more than 50% less leaky than a home built to Iowa code. This means energy savings, lower heating and cooling bills and controlled ventilation for improved air quality.
We recently finished insulation on a house for Apex Construction. This home will be extremely well insulated and air sealed, as it features an inch of closed cell foam insulation covered with netted blown fiberglass. After drywall, we will apply AeroBarrier, a cutting-edge air sealant, to prevent air leakage through the home's envelope to a level not feasible using standard caulk and foam methods.
Apex Construction just finished up our roof and ceiling. We are free from leaks and looking good! Thank you guys so much for the great work!
