Meet Our Kid Captains: University of Iowa Children's Hospital: University of Iowa Health Care

We are currently sorting through the 2010 University of Iowa Children's Hospital Kid Captains for possible inclusion in the next exhibit. These amazing stories of survival will bring a tear to your eye. BMJ: Wakefield Paper Alleging Link between MMR Vaccine and Autism Fraudulent — History of Vaccines

Big news in the health world: The British Medical Journal announces that the original study alleging a link between the MMR vaccine and autism was fatally flawed due to Wakefield's conflict of interest and falsification of evidence.

Finally, we can all agree that VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM! The Medical Museum is located in the Patient and Visitor Activities Center, eighth floor, John W. Colloton Pavilion. The Museum is open from: Monday - Friday 8a.m. - 5p.m. Saturday - Sunday 1p.m. - 4p.m. The Medical Museum is also open most holidays (please call in advance.) Admission is free.
