We talk a lot about hair health, but something else that’s just as important is scalp health. Here’s a few of our favorite scalp products we have available ✨

tonik / probably the mvp here at the salon. this is a scalp treatment that we recommend using post wash on damp hair. it’s a conditioning + botanical scalp potion, and amazing for those with dryness, irritation, itchiness, etc. what’s even better is this product comes in this sustainable glass packaging that you keep, and they offer refills in aluminum containers. great for your scalp and great for the earth 🌍 also comes in mini sizes too!

R+Co] super garden cbd shampoo / this is our favorite shampoo to offer to those who need a product that is going to calm + soothe the scalp. it’s gentle, a little bit cooling, and feels wonderful for those who may have sensitivity on the scalp!

R+Co] acid wash / this is a good product for many reasons and for many people. it can be used as a co-wash substitute for your shampoo + conditioner, but we are typically using it for it’s scalp benefits. it’s a great product to have when you may be feeling a little extra dry, flaky, itchy, etc. — add this into your shampoo routine by applying directly to the scalp + massage it in, then let it sit. it’s kinda tingly and feels SO good for those with an irritated scalp. an essential scalp treatment product!

With summer among us, and time spent in the sun, pools, etc. — don’t forget to keep scalp health in mind!

One of our favorite products ever — but especially a summer favorite is Suncatcher ✨

This is a lightweight leave in conditioner that has a light hold — so it’s great for air drying, but can also be used in a blow out. Why it’s one of our favs is because it’s light enough to be used in the hair when dry. So after you’ve spent a few days in the sun and need a little moisture, you can take a pea size amount and apply to your mids-ends for a refresh. Since it’s a cream, the hair absorbs it easily and you aren’t left with an oily residue. You’d love this after a day in the sun or to air dry some summer waves.

Having your dream hair takes time + care. Most likely it will take several appointments to get to your desired goal. It’s important to know when changing your look that you may have to create a foundation, and then build on top of that. created this lived in blonde after 3 sessions. Starting with our “transformation color” service, then a “face frame” service, and ending with a “total blonding” service.

We believe doing big transformations in steps creates a more realistic + prettier outcome, its more time effective, and it’s healthier on the hair. Those are all things that are extremely important to us, so know we have your best interest in mind!

We have all had the same complaint…the packaging made it so hard to get this wonderful creamy goodness out of the bottle! We’d literally break a sweat getting to the last little bit 😅

Well Olaplex listened to us all and redesigned the bottle into a pump, and we now have it in stock! This is one of our favorite products for blondes + compromised hair, and now with the new design it’s also much easier to control how much product you use. As a little goes a longgg way with Olaplex.

Are you going lighter for summer or staying on the dark side?

As we start spring break week — here’s just a few tips to keep your hair healthy while your enjoying your time away ☀️

-before getting in a pool, wet your hair down and add conditioner. bonus points if you braid it as well. the braid keeps your hair from getting tangled, and the conditioner helps keep the harmful chemicals out of your strands.

-buttttt if you do happen to experience the not so fun feeling of pool hair, we have an in-salon treatment that can help with that!

-wear a hat to protect your hair + scalp from the sun

-be careful with sunscreen + tanning lotion on blonde hair, as these can cause discoloration

-when you get back, try this product out — teacup is a conditioning detox your hair from unwanted metals + pollutants, and leaves it silky soft. after a week of water + sun, it’s the perfect refresher for your locks.

We just wanted to give you all a quick update in regards to booking your spring appointments. As of now, our stylists are booked through March. There is still some flexibility for April + May, BUT, with graduation season and the start of summer comes a ton of need for fresh hair so pretty please plan accordingly. We suggest booking your April + May appointments as soon as possible!

So with that being said, as of February 1st, there will be a slight increase in the cost of some our service pricing and R+CO will be increasing their retail pricing as well.

These slight price increases will allow us to continue the quality of the client experience you have all grown to expect from White House. We pride ourselves in creating beautiful hair with a luxury experience, and we appreciate you all for understanding.

Reflecting on the past year, it’s hard to believe that 2021 was our first complete year open. Opening a business during a pandemic has been nothing short of a challenge, but we have learned so much along the way. Here’s a few of our highlights from this past year —
