Precision Racing Instruction

Recently had a great couple days coaching at Laguna Seca with RaceWerkz WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

In 2017 I got the chance to try out an EXR car at California Speedway. In 10 laps I set the track record that stood till the track didn't exist anymore. I then raced in 4 races where I won 2 races and finished 2nd in another one. When I stopped racing the series I was the points leader.

After GT Academy I was looking for an opportunity to try something new. I got a chance to test a GRC Lites car out in Vegas. Super fun little car. Out of everyone at the test I ended up being the fastest.

In the never ending pursuit of my dreams I entered GT Academy. This was a chance to become a factory sponsored driver for Nissan. It started with the game Gran Turismo with a time trial that over 500,000 people entered and only 32 making the cut. This required that I become one of the top sim racers in the country which was no small feat. After 3 years of work I made it onto the show and ended up finishing 2nd. Out of this I learned what it takes to become one of the best in the world at something.

While working at the Russell Racing School I discovered rally and decided to give it a try. I bought a rally car (323 GTX) and entered into my first rally. I was competitive right from the start and won multiple rally stages. While I only ran a handful of rallies I became competitive in yet another form of motorsports. Some of the most fun days I've ever had.

After racing karts for 5 years, it was time to move on to racing cars and I started my car racing journey at the Russell Racing School at Sears Point Raceway.

In my first five races, I qualified first and won every race. This is also where I started my professional career as a Driving Instructor. I got to learn from some of the best in the business. Those were some fun times for sure!

Hi! I'm Christopher Hill the founder of Precision Racing Instruction. I started racing when I was 15 in karts and won quite a few races in the SoCal area. Some of the highlights for me were finishing 2nd in three different championships in 1999 and winning the Cal State Championships in 2006 in the Rotax category. This is where it all started both as a driver and as an instructor where I would spend time coaching my friends and some of the younger competitors. I found helping others win was just as much fun as winning myself. I also found it helped me become a better driver.
