Hamstring injuries are among the most common issues runners face, yet their exact causes are still being researched. What we do know is that they’re closely linked to the demands of running—especially increases in speed, mileage, or intensity during race preparation.
Learn more from our partner Athletico Physical Therapy about what every runner should know about hamstring injuries as an endurance athlete, and what steps to take if you experience one yourself: https://www.athletico.com/2023/11/20/hamstring-injuries-running/

The inaugural Monon cleanup was a success! Thank you to the members who showed up yesterday—the Monon looks so much better! 🫶 Special thanks to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. for providing the supplies!

Join us Saturday, May 9th, for a post-Mini recovery morning with a purpose. Since so many of our miles happen on the Monon, this is a chance to give back and help keep our trails clean.
– Monon Trail (75th to 86th)
– Cleanup: 9:00–10:00 AM
Come for an easy run or walk beforehand or just join us for cleanup—we’d love to have you either way. Supplies will be provided thanks to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc.
Feel free to grab supplies at basecamp in Broad Ripple, or meet at Kroger on 86th at 9:00 AM.
