Tomorrow at the Greenwood Indiana Farmers Market I will have a few vegetables available including white eggplants and tomatoes. I will also have fresh basil. This is starting to sound like eggplant Parmesan to me! 🤤
Finish off your meal with the newest tea blend chocolate chai. This is a cup of tea that you soon won't forget. It blends the velvety richness of chocolate with the warming spices of chai to make a delightful brew.
Or perhaps one of the other Chai blends might catch your fancy-
Morning chai- This classic blend pairs robust black tea with traditional aromatic spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and clove for a bold start to your day.
Campfire Chai
Infused with smoky Lapsang Souchong tea leaves, this unique blend captures the cozy essence of a starry night around an open flame.
Harvest Chai
Sweet apples and creamy pumpkin merge effortlessly with ginger, nutmeg, and classic warming spices to create the ultimate autumnal brew.
Rustic Hill Farm will not be at the Greenwood Indiana Farmers Market tomorrow. The weather is a bit of a gamble tomorrow 😬. I will be back next Saturday with my newest creation - Chocolate Chai.

P.S. I am formulating a tea that will help with the symptoms of this newest wave of contaminated produce. I will have it available next weekend! In the meantime go to the farmer's market not the big chain stores for your produce 😘

Most spices that you purchase at the big chain stores are at least 1 year old and can be up to 4 years old depending on the spice. Imagine buying a spice that has been sitting on the shelf for 4 years. You aren't getting good flavor quality and most of the essential oils that provide health benefits have dissipated.
I have a variety of herbs that I have grown and harvested here on my farm. I bring them with me each week to the Greenwood Indiana Farmers Market . These herbs have been grown chemical free and are 6 months or less old. They will be the freshest herbs you can possibly add to your pantry. Bonus some of them are herbs you won't find in the grocery.
This is today's oregano harvest. Oregano is rich in antioxidants, has natural antibacterial properties that can help fight off certain types of bacteria, and have been shown in laboratory studies to help reduce inflammation in the body.
Because oregano is an incredibly potent antibacterial, and warming herb it is a perfect candidate for a winter immunity oxymel.
🌱Oregano is a staple ingredient in many global cuisines, particularly Mediterranean and Mexican cooking.
🌱It is a foundational herb for pizza sauces, marinara, pasta dishes, lasagna, and Greek salads
🌱Used on Roasted Meats and Vegetables.
🌱A specific variety (Mexican oregano) is widely used in chili, taco fillings, burrito bowls, and black beans.
🌱Frequently whisked into olive oil and red wine vinegar dressings to top salads or marinate meats before grilling.
AND you can make it as a tea. Interesting flavor.
This echinacea is a curved flower in a world of cones. Dare to be different.

I extracted pigments from plants! After I build up a selection of colors I will be turning these into watercolor paints. I will be painting with the Earth's palette. How cool is that???!!!! 🎨🌱
