This might be an unpopular opinion in a time when everyone is advocating for major life-changing actions, but I actually *don't* believe that you need to alter everything about your life in order to find less stress and more peace.

For sure, there are times when big changes are in order.

But most of the time, the best thing we can do is make one decision at a time, take baby steps to following through with those decisions, and look for progress instead of perfection.

Ouch that was painful 😫 The truth hurts sometimes, but I really needed to hear this one!

👩🏻‍🎨🎨🖌️🖼️ Let me paint you a picture....

You've just finished hosting a dinner party 🍽️ in your home 🏡. One of your guests (could be your best friend, your boss' wife, your new neighbor - you decide) says that the dessert 🍮 you served was absolutely incredible. You grin, blushing at the compliment 😊. Then the guest asks for the recipe. You freeze 😳. You've been making that dessert since you were young. Your mother (who taught you to make it) gave you a paper copy 📝 of the recipe a long time ago, but you've never needed it. You start rummaging through drawers until you finally find it. You narrowly escaped that potentially-awkward situation, but it was a close call. You resolve to do something about all the loose-leaf scraps of paper recipes 📑 in your kitchen. But then life happens and you don't think about it again until another similar situation occurs.
