Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Recycle is last in the phrase on purpose.

It is usually better to get something made from recycled materials than non-recycled materials. However, take a moment and consider if there is a less wasteful option first. At first it may take a bit of extra time and thought but it soon becomes a habit.

Almost every item that can be purchased these days includes some sort of single use plastic that will generally be discarded, and probably can't or won't be recycled anyways.

Not to mention the potential health effects of how much plastic comes into contact with our food and drink.
