The Purdue Extension Marion County office is closed today in observance of Juneteenth - a day for celebrating the freedom and progress of Black Americans.
The office will resume regular business hours Monday, June 22nd at 8am.

Our next Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Basic Training course will be the 2026 Fall Basic Training, beginning August 27, 2026, and going through November 26, 2026. This will be a 40 hour training with weekly meetings on Thursdays from 1PM to 4PM at the PEMC Office.
Please email a completed Master Gardener Volunteer Application and Agreement (https://bit.ly/EMG-Application) to Barb Schwartz at [email protected] to begin the process. The application deadline is August 10, 2026. Once your application is received, you will be sent a link to schedule a virtual ID check.
After vetting is complete, you will be sent a registration link to register for the class and submit the $185 fee. Registration will open on July 20, 2026 and close on August 14, 2026.
