Still trying to catch up on features from the weekend in/around Washington, Indiana!

This post highlights the 2nd unexpected gem I at the treasure trove otherwise known as

I almost passed up “Treasures of Faith“ in order to directly hit that greatly anticipated salad bar. Luckily, my travel angels insisted I step inside to see what there was to discover.

I so many things of interest, but my most vivid memories will ALWAYS include meeting David & Kimberly, the husband and wife shop-owning super duo. We laughed and laughed, and then laughed some more.

After 3 fun-filled/EDventurous days, I finally had to say goodbye to Washington, Indiana, and head back home (Indianapolis).

But I also had to some breakfast/lunch in a mostly unfamiliar location. I was .

I didn’t have any recommendations, but I thought surely I could something interesting as I headed north on a backroad near I69.

Nothing came into view after a couple of miles, so I Googled “restaurants in Odon” and I was led to The Gathering Table; a shopping|foodie/all-in-one wonderland that I wish I had more energy to explore. But is hard. What I really needed was a nap!

But as soon as I walked through the front doors, I was immediately reenergized by the super friendly staff; ready to help me lunch AND some treasures to take home.

A visit to Oliver Winery is always something special. This time, whereas I had visions of charcuterie to pair with a fine glass of wine, I “camp” instead. And it was the best camp there ever was. Because s’mores and wine.
